Gretchen Ferguson has been promoted by Maurices to manager of the La Grande store.

She has been with the company since 1991 and previously served as the store’s co-manager.

She will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the store, including sales performance, visual presentation and personnel recruiting and training.

Ferguson was praised by Maurices’ vice president John Schroeder as having "strong leadership skills. And I have great confidence in her ability to deliver service that is beyond our customers’ expectations."
