Wallowa church eyes salvation

Salvation Perspectives will be the lesson at the 11 am. service Sunday at the Wallowa Church of Christ. The discussion will include the Lord’s commands: lean on Me, come unto Me, follow Me, and abide in Me. Sam Baker, Bob Allman and Bob Bennett will lead in song, prayer and the Lord’s supper. Wednesday night’s Bible study at 7 p.m. will be from Romans.
Aglow women to bring slippers

All women are invited to bring their slippers and get comfortable at the next meeting of La Grande Aglow at 6:45 p.m. Monday at The Place, 62846 Buchanan Lane in Island City. Marilyn Winburn, a past Aglow president, will speak on the topic "How should I walk? walking by faith not by sight."
Ghanian to speak Sunday

Benjamin Baidoo, a Christian from the western region of Ghana, will share his experience with God’s word at the 10 a.m. Sunday service at Grande Ronde Community Church, 410 Fir St. Bible studies are at 7 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday. For information call the church office at 963-7410.
Church offers new adult classes
SUMMERVILLE
Summerville Baptist Church has four new adult-level Sunday Bible studies, Pastor Frank Humber announced.
The classes include a study on the Book of Revelation, the Home Builders class for married couples on Biblical relationships, the college-and-career class on apologetics, and the ABCs class studying basic Christian doctrine.
Bible classes, available for all ages, begin at 9:45 a.m.
The church is at First and Jefferson streets.
