Chiropractor Ron Combe and massage therapist John Combe are settling into their new quarters at 1910 Adams Ave. in La Grande.

They are calling the business Combe’s Wellness Center.

They took over the former real estate office officially on Feb. 1 and did some remodeling to create two treatment rooms.

John, from Imbler, has been a massage therapist for four years, coming to his own practice from the Center for Natural Health on Sixth Street.

Ron, who has been a chiropractor for 30 years after being educated at Weber State in Ogden, Utah, and the Western States Chiropractic Center in Portland, comes to La Grande from Roseburg. He is John’s uncle.

"It’s unique for us to be together. Now we can offer maximum results at one location, focusing on the entire muscular-skeletal system.

John said, "I will focus on the therapeutic aspects of massage therapy and repetitive use therapy."

He is involved in sports massage, too, he said, with clients including Eastern Oregon University athletes.

John said he is very involved with the state and national levels of of his profession. He is the American Massage Therapy Association membership chair.

Hours for both Ron and John are by appointments. They have separate phone numbers. John’s is 786-1458 and Ron’s is 663-0388.
