Faith Lutheran Church reaches out to Joseph

Faith Lutheran Church will have an outreach Bible study, worship and fellowship time in Wallowa County on Jan. 25.

The group will leave La Grande at 1 p.m. and meet at the home of Richard and Beverly Fraschi outside Joseph at 2:30 p.m.

Presbyterians celebrate God’s generous spirit

The 9:30 Sunday morning worship service at the Presbyterian Church will be a celebration of God’s generous spirit.

The children’s Sunday school lesson this month will be on the Good Samaritan and the adult class will continue its study of the Gospel of Luke. Classes for all ages begin at 10:45 a.m.

The prayer labyrinth will be open from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the Friendship Center, 1204 Spring Ave. Everyone is welcome.

Community Church to focus on Ezekial

The lesson at the 10 a.m. service Sunday at the Grande Ronde Community Church, 410 Fir St., will be from the book of Ezekial.

St. Peter’s plans annual meeting

St. Peter’s Episcopal Church will have its annual parish meeting and potluck following the 10 a.m. service Sunday. Members will receive the 2003 annual report, elect vestry members and delegates, and discuss the coming year.

4th Street Youth Group plans ‘Souper Bowl’

The Fourth Street Youth Group will meet from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the United Methodist Church, 1612 Fourth St., to discuss plans for the coming Souper Bowl collection.
