PILOT ROCK – The La Grande Major Girls All-Stars played their way into an Independence Day game against Pendleton today in the District 3, 11-12 year old Pilot Rock Tournament.

Friday, La Grande defeated Wallowa County 7-4. Kelly Walker recorded a complete game victory for La Grande in the victory. The Union County Major all-stars made it to the game by way of a 17-6 win over Grant County.

Against Union County Saturday, La Grande played its way to 15-5 win in six innings.

Ellen Everidge pitched a complete game against Union County for the win.

La Grande faces defending state champion Pendleton today in Pilot Rock.

Walker will get the start for the La Grande Majors all-stars.
