After winning the Greater Oregon League title this season, Ontario was duly rewarded in the all-league selections.

Jenny Yano was named Player of the Year for her role in Ontario’s

12-9 regular season record. Yano’s team finished 9-3 in the league

standings, one game in front of Baker.

Nicole Adamson, Ontario’s coach, was tabbed as the Coach of the Year.

La Grande’s first team selections were few in the wake of a 2-10 league record.

Sophomore Jenny Tracy earned a first team selection for her efforts behind the plate.

In the outfield, Shelby Hasse earned a first team selection.

Sydney Brown, Jacey Childs and Kelly Walker each earned a second team selection.

Cami Bell, Brittany Elliot and Paige Aldred earned honorable mention

selections.
