Rebecca “Becci” Ann Scott, 77, of Elgin, died Aug. 17 at her home, after a six-year battle with cancer. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 25 at Elgin Community Center. The family prefers casual dress. A reception and potluck will follow the service at the same location. A meat dish accompanied by potatoes and gravy will be provided.
