La Grande Police Department

Accident: Nobody was injured in a traffic accident at Island Avenue and Interstate 84 on Saturday. The accident was reported at 9:48 a.m.

Arrested: Derek Benjamin Ortega, 26, a transient, was arrested on a charge of first-degree criminal trespass.

Arrested: George Robert Kelly, 23, unknown address, was arrested on a Union County warrant charging order to show cause. The warrant was connected to an original charge of unlawful possession of meth. Kelly was also charged with second-degree criminal trespass.

Arrested: Scott David Bingham, 56, Coos Bay, was arrested on charges of reckless driving and driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Arrested: Amber Darlene Garcia, 37, La Grande, was arrested on a parole and probation detainer.

Arrested: Michael George Acireno, 50, unknown address, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Arrested: Jeremiah Ray Golden, 40, unknown address, was arrested on a Union County warrant charging failure to appear in court on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Arrested: George Kelly, 23, La Grande, was arrested on a charge of third-degree theft.

Arrested: Ramie Ranell Olson, 30, was arrested on charges of second-degree burglary, third-degree theft and second-degree criminal trespass.

Arrested: Daniel Lee Harrell, 37, unknown address, was arrested on charges of attempted first-degree assault, reckless driving, menacing, recklessly endangering and attempt to elude.

Arrested: Shane Allen Sain, 33, unknown address, was arrested on a parole and probation warrant charging a parole probation violation connected to an original charge of elude.

Arrested: Phillip Lee McMillen, 42, was arrested on two Union County warrants. One warrant charged failure to appear in court on charge of second-degree criminal mischief and a second warrant charged failure to appear in court on a charge of failure to appear in court.

Arrested: Shauna Lynn Boyles, 43, unknown address, was arrested on charges of second-degree burglary and third-degree theft.

Union County Sheriff

Arrested: Christopher E. Crader, 35, unknown address, was arrested on a parole and probation detainer for an alleged parole violation.

Accident: Nobody was injured in a traffic accident on Highway 203 in the La Grande area, on Sunday morning. The accident was reported at 12:44 a.m.

Accident: Nobody was injured in a traffic accident on Delta Street in Union on Friday. The accident was reported at 8:55 p.m.

Arrested: Theadore Huffman, 46, unknown address, was arrested on a Union County warrant charging failure to appear in court. The warrant was connected to original charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving.

Arrested: Eric Lee Wyatt, 29, unknown address, was arrested on a parole and probation warrant charging a parole violation.

Arrested: Duncan Ian Wilson, 70, Cove, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Arrested: Joseph G. Hurst, 43, La Grande, was arrested on a charge of driving while suspended, felony.

Arrested: A juvenile was arrested by the Baker County Sheriff’s Office on a Union County Juvenile warrant charging first-degree burglary and first-degree theft.

Arrested: Jefferson Eli Cole Sharp, 24, Baker City, was arrested on a Baker County warrant charging contempt of court. The warrant was connected to an original charge of second-degree theft.

Arrested: Matthew Ray Barrett, 31, unknown address, was arrested by the Curry County Sheriff’s Office on a Union County warrant charging failure to appear in court on charges of fourth-degree assault and driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Oregon State Police

Accident: Nobody was injured in a traffic accident on Sandridge Road in the Imbler area Tuesday. The accident was reported at 6:25 p.m.

La Grande Fire Department

Firefighters responded to two calls for medical assistance on June 7, four on Saturday, four on Sunday, nine on Monday and seven on Tuesday.

Fire: Firefighters responded to a small grass fire on Lake Street late Tuesday afternoon. The fire caused no injuries or property damage.
