Union County records 69 new cases over the weekend

SALEM — Union County recorded 69 new cases of COVID-19 over the weekend, the Oregon Health Authority reported on Monday, Sept. 27.
The new cases bring Union County’s total to 2,877 cases since the start of the pandemic last year.
The state announced 18 new cases for Wallowa County, bringing the total to 558 cases since the pandemic started.
No new deaths were reported in either county.
Oregon Health Authority reported 3,709 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 324,571.
The state is reporting that the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 866 and that there are 243 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit (ICU) beds. There are 57 available adult ICU beds out of 649 total (9% availability) and 392 available adult non-ICU beds out of 4,272 (9% availability).
