OHA report reveals six new COVID-19 cases in Union County

SALEM — The Oregon Health Authority released its daily COVID-19 report on Monday, Nov. 8, showing six new cases in Union County. The update revealed two new cases in Wallowa County.

The new cases bring Union County’s total to 3,300 since the start of the pandemic, while Wallowa County’s total is 731. No deaths were reported in either county in the latest update.

Across Oregon, 2,125 new confirmed and presumptive COVID-19 cases were tallied in the latest report, which makes 374,253 since the start of the pandemic. There were 58 new deaths totalled in the update, which brings the state’s death toll to 4,620.

There are currently 520 patients in the state hospitalised with COVID-19, which is a decrease of three patients from yesterday. Out of 673 total adult ICU beds, 61 are currently available. There are 289 open adult non-ICU beds out of 4,081.

The seven-day running average of vaccine doses per day in Oregon stands at 15,907.
