Union County tallies four COVID-19 cases in latest OHA report

SALEM — The Oregon Health Authority released its weekend report on Monday, Dec. 13, which showed four new positive COVID-19 cases in Union County. Wallowa County did not record any cases in the report.

The latest update brings Union County’s case count to 3,437 since the start of the pandemic, while Wallowa County stands at 767.

Across Oregon, 1,387 new confirmed and presumptive cases were reported — Oregon’s total case count is up to 401,564 since the beginning of COVID-19. The report showed 39 new deaths in the state, bringing the death toll to 5,420.

There are currently 408 patients hospitalized with COVID-19 across Oregon, which is a decrease of two patients from the last report. Out of 679 total ICU beds in the state, 78 are currently available. There are 292 open adult non-ICU beds out of 4,142.

The state’s seven-day running average of vaccine doses per day is 22,724.
