OHA reports 19 new cases in Wallowa County, 13 in Union County

SALEM — The Oregon Health Authority released its daily COVID-19 report on Tuesday, Jan. 11, revealing 19 new cases in Wallowa County and 13 in Union County.
The new cases increased Union County’s total to 3,761 since the start of the pandemic, while Wallowa County saw its total rise to 848. The report did not reveal county-specific deaths, but 35 new deaths were counted in Oregon.
Across the state, 8,040 new confirmed and presumptive COVID-19 cases were reported by OHA. The new report increased Oregon’s total to 486,202 since the beginning of COVID-19.
The report showed that there are currently 727 patients hospitalized with COVID-19 in Oregon, which is an increase of 35 patients from yesterday’s report.
There are currently 44 available adult ICU beds out of 663 total in the state. Out of 4,094 total adult non-ICU beds, 292 are currently open.
Oregon’s seven-day running average of vaccine doses per day is 13,555.
