John Richard Shafer, 22, of La Grande, died Jan. 3, 2022. A celebration of his life will be held at 3 p.m. Jan. 14 at the Elgin Nazarene Church. Casual dress is preferred by the family. Arrangements are by Loveland Funeral Chapel & Crematory, La Grande.
