OHA reports 40 new COVID-19 cases in Union County

SALEM — The Oregon Health Authority released its weekend COVID-19 report, revealing 40 new cases in Union County.
The new numbers increased Union County’s total case count to 4,915 since the start of the pandemic.
Across the state, 4,756 new confirmed and presumptive cases were reported — Oregon’s total case county increased to 679,241 since the beginning of COVID-19. OHA reported 18 news deaths, bringing the state’s death toll to 6,373.
The report showed that there are 865 patients hospitalized with COVID-19 in Oregon.
Out of 668 total adult ICU beds in the state, 79 are currently available. There are 286 open adult non-ICU beds out of 4,242.
Oregon’s seven-day running average of vaccine doses per day is 6,151.
