OHA reports one new COVID-19 case in Union County

SALEM — The Oregon Health Authority released its daily COVID-19 report, revealing one new case in Union County and no new cases in Wallowa County.

The new case increased Union County’s case count since the start of the pandemic to 5,013, while Wallowa County’s total remained at 1,249.

Across the state, OHA reported 301 new confirmed and presumptive cases — Oregon’s total case count increased to 702,566 since the start of the pandemic. The report showed 20 new deaths across Oregon, bringing the state’s death toll to 7,033.

OHA reported that there are currently 161 patients hospitalized with COVID-19 across Oregon, which is a decrease of four from yesterday’s report.

Out of 676 total adult ICU beds in the state, 95 are currently available. There are 385 open adult non-ICU beds out of 4,253 in the state.

Oregon’s seven-day running average of vaccine doses per day is 2,283.
