Mentor Match Teen Entrepreneur program meeting set for Sept. 14

Joseph Charter School student Bayden Menton won the award for Top Producer in the 2021 Mentor Match Teen Entrepreneur Program. His business, Old School Cutting Boards, earned more than $6,000 in revenue.

ENTERPRISE — The Mentor Match Teen Entrepreneur Program will kick off its 12th year with a mandatory introductory meeting 6:30–7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 14, at Building Healthy Families, 207 NE Park St., Enterprise.

Free pizza and information about the program will be offered as well as a chance to decide it it’s a right fit. The program is open to juniors and seniors in Wallowa County. It teaches teens how to create, launch and run their own business. 

Meetings are every other Wednesday evening, 6:30–8 p.m. (after sports) and include dinner. It’s free to all participants. For more information, visit Facebook or contact adviser Stacy Green at 541-398-2314.
