UNI0N — The annual Grassroots Festival and Car Show will be conducted Saturday, Aug. 12, in Union.

Traditionally, the event has featured the car show, a plastic duck race in Catherine Creek, vendors, live music, a street dance with a disc jockey, a library book and bake sale, and citywide yard sales.

The Grassroots Festival has been operating since at least 2004.
