LA GRANDE — With the spring season of sports coming to a conclusion, the Oregon School Activities Association released the listing for academic all-state teams across the state.

The La Grande Tigers were included on the listing for multiple spring sports but were led by the girls golf team with a grade point average of 3.90, fourth in the standings in the 4A/3A/2A/1A division.

The girls again scored with the La Grande track and field team putting up a 3.65 GPA. The mark places the Tiger girls 10th in the 4A rankings. Keeping in the solely 4A ranks, La Grande softball ended the season putting up a 3.6 GPA, eighth in the standings.

The La Grande boys make the listing with the baseball team placing fifth in the 4A ranks with a 3.53 GPA. Just a few decimal points back, the Tigers’ choir ended the year third in the 4A division with a 3.5 GPA.

Competing against the state’s 4A teams, boys golf placed sixth statewide after a GPA of 3.41 and the Tiger band placed 11th in the 4A ranks with a 3.1 GPA. Boys track made the top 20 at 20th with a 3.05 GPA.
