LA GRANDE — Lunch is served at the Union County Senior Center, 1504 N. Albany St., La Grande, on weekdays. The dine-in meals are open to the public and are served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The suggested donation is $4 for those age 60 and older, $7 for all others. As of March 1, takeout meals are no longer available.

Often live music and dancing precede the meal, beginning around 10:45 a.m.

The menu for June 5-9 is:

Monday: tuna noodle casserole, broccoli, rolls, fresh fruit, apple crisp.

Tuesday: pork roast with gravy, whipped sweet potatoes, green beans, baked apples.

Wednesday: fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, spinach salad, cake.

Thursday: lasagna, mixed vegetables, Caesar salad, garlic bread.

Friday: beef Stroganoff over egg noodles, broccoli, fresh fruit.
