LA GRANDE — La Grande School District Superintendent George Mendoza announced Tigers’ boys golf coach Ron Evans died at his home on Friday, July 14.

Evans coached the Tiger boys to a 4A state team title in both 2011 and 2012.

Information regarding services for Evans will be announced at a later date.
