THURSDAY, AUG. 3

5:07 a.m.: La Grande police responded to a report of a disturbance on the 600 block of 18th Street. Sariah Bleau Payne, 20, was arrested and lodged in Union County Jail for fourth-degree assault.

8:48 a.m.: La Grande police arrested Nathan Curtis Kielley-Toohey, 32, on a Union County failure to appear warrant with original charges of second-degree theft.

9:53 a.m.: La Grande police arrested William Leslie Driskell, 43, on a Union County secret indictment warrant charging two counts of first-degree theft and improperly transferring a firearm.

11:34 a.m.: La Grande police arrested Colin Drew Dittmer, 23, on a Union County failure to appear warrant with original charges of fourth-degree assault and harassment.

12:18 p.m.: Union County Sheriff’s Office received a call about possible animal abuse on East Harrison Street in Union. An animal enforcement officer advised.

5:19 p.m.: A caller told the Union County Sheriff’s Office about a possible runaway from East Hickory Street in Union. A deputy reached out and took a report.

5:46 p.m.: Union County Sheriff’s Office received a call about possible child abandonment on North 10th Street in Elgin. A deputy advised and the child was returned to their parents.

6:30 p.m.: A caller informed La Grande police about minors who were in possession of tobacco. Officers responded, but the individuals were gone upon arrival.

FRIDAY, AUG. 4

6:53 a.m.: La Grande police arrested Christopher Lee Cox, 39, for unlawful entry into a motor vehicle.

7:44 a.m.: During a field interrogation on Gekeler Lane, La Grande police arrested Ernest Charles Davis, 53, on a Union County failure to appear warrant. The original charge was failure to perform the duties of a driver for property damage.

9:25 a.m.: While out performing follow-up, La Grande police cited Lonnie Ray Kennedy, 66, on a Union County failure to appear warrant with an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass.

3:06 p.m.: A caller reported a trespass on the 1200 block of Willow Street to La Grande police. Officers responded and trespassed the subject.

7 p.m.: Union County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a civil disturbance on the 200 block of E Street in North Powder. A deputy responded and the situation was resolved.

10:01 p.m.: A caller told the Union County Sheriff’s Office about a disturbance at Blue Springs Crossing in Island City. Both a deputy and a La Grande police officer responded, and the subjects agreed to keep it down.

11:42 p.m.: Union County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a careless driver near Walmart in Island City. A deputy responded and warned one person.

SATURDAY, AUG. 5

12:03 a.m.: Union County Sheriff’s office received a call about someone causing a traffic hazard on the 60800 block of South McAlister Road in Island City. A deputy responded and arrested Kathryn White, 45, for disorderly conduct.

2:22 a.m.: A caller told La Grande police about a disturbance on the 2000 block of Spruce Street. Officers and a Union County Sheriff’s deputy responded, and the subject left peacefully.

9:20 a.m.: La Grande police received a report of vandalism on the 2300 block of Fir Street. An officer responded and took information.

10:56 a.m.: A caller reported a verbal disturbance on the 1900 block of H Avenue, La Grande. An officer responded and determined this was an argument over a parking spot.

8:15 p.m.: A caller reported a burglary at a residence on the 2200 block of Jakob Avenue, La Grande. An officer responded and took a report.

8:15 p.m.: The Union County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a disturbance involving a juvenile at Union’s city park. A deputy responded and took information.

9:28 p.m.: A caller reported horses on the loose at Booth Lane and Mount Glen Road, La Grande. Union County dispatch contacted the owners, who retrieved the horses.

10:16 p.m.: A caller reported possible gunshots in the area of 65000 Booth Lane, La Grande. A Union County sheriff’s deputy responded and determined it was fireworks.

11:24 p.m.: La Grande police received a noise complaint on the 2000 block of Gekeler Lane. An officer responded, and the party soon shut down.

SUNDAY, AUG. 6

7:13 a.m.: A caller reported a domestic disturbance on the 2400 block of Empire Drive, La Grande. An officer and medical responded. Police took a report.

1:39 p.m.: A caller reported animal abuse at Bidwell Road and Second Street, North Powder. An animal enforcement officer made contact and took information

2:56 p.m.: Local law enforcement received a report of an assault in the area of 49500 Highway 244, La Grande. A Union County sheriff’s deputy made contact and will follow up.

4:44 p.m.: La Grande police received a report of a suspicious person on the 2200 block of Adams Avenue. Officers responded and warned an individual for disorderly conduct.

7:51 p.m.: La Grande police received a report of a disturbance on the 2100 block of Adams Avenue. Officers responded and gave a warning for disorderly conduct.

8:03 p.m.: La Grande police received a report of disorderly conduct at U Avenue and Greenwood Street. An officer responded and gave a warning for disorderly conduct.

11:21 p.m.: A caller reported a disturbance on the 600 block of 12th Street, La Grande. Officers responded and arrested Jejo Haes, 26, of La Grande, for a no contact release agreement violation.
