LA GRANDE — The La Grande Tiger Boosters is hosting the Tiger Open Saturday, Sept. 16, at the La Grande Country Club.

Registration is now open for the event with the day including tee prizes, raffles and contests, including hit the Tiger, putting and closest to the line. There will also be a no-host bar, dinner and a prize raffle. All proceeds from the day go towards athletics and activities at La Grande High School.

This will be the 20th year for the golf tournament with the tax-deductible donations assisting with needed equipment, teaching aids, recognition awards and assistance with travel costs of Tiger students.

Registration for the tournament will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a shotgun start heading off the tees at 11 a.m. Car rentals will also be available the day of the tournament.

A LHS Gold Member fee donation of $1,000 includes recognition, entry of two golfers, tee prizes, a Tiger Booster annual membership, two dinner tickets and a sign at the tournament.

Individual golfers can sign up for $80 and includes a dinner ticket and tee prizes.

Completed forms and payments can be dropped off at the La Grande Country Club or mailed to La Grande Tiger Boosters, PO Box 2991, La Grande, OR. 97850.
