WILSONVILLE — After a strong start to the season with wins over a pair of Idaho teams — Payette and Fruitland — the La Grande girls soccer team remains in the top 10, according to the state’s soccer coaches.

In the newest poll released on Tuesday, Sept. 5, the Oregon School Activities Association compiled voting by the state’s soccer coaches. La Grande, ranked eighth in the Class 4A ranks last week, remained in the eighth slot this week.

Marist Catholic maintained the top spot on the poll for 4A schools, with North Marion making the jump from fifth to second this week. Scappoose, Hidden Valley and Philomath round out the top-five teams, according to the coaches.

The Lady Tigers travel to Estacada on Sept. 8 to meet Seaside.
