LA GRANDE — For the first time this season, the La Grande boys soccer team failed to find a goal.

The Tigers saw the defense of the McLoughlin step up with the Pioneers posting an 8-0 win on Thursday, Sept. 7, in La Grande. Tigers fans should take heart as Mac-Hi has only allowed two goals this year and the La Grande match was the third shutout of the year for the Pioneers in five games.

La Grande (1-2-1) looks to return to the win column with a trip on Sept. 9 to take on Estacada (2-0 overall) in nonleague play.
