The Eastern Oregon University women’s soccer team blasted The Evergreen State College 9-0 on Saturday. The Cascade Collegiate Conference victory was led by Kana Mateaki’s two goals while Emmy Williams, Karina DeYoung, Mackenzie Huotari, Peyton Jacaway, Kapri McMillan and Hailey Rogan all had one goal apiece.

EOU dominated the ball with a 25-1 shots advantage while the Geoeagles did not have a shot on goal. Mountaineers scored three times in the first half and poured in six in the second.

Eastern Oregon kicked off conference play Friday afternoon with a 0-0 draw against Northwest University. EOU racked up 17 shots on the day led by McMillan’s four shots on goal. Rylee Schei made two saves in net. The 

EOU is 3-0-3 on the season and 1-0-1 in Cascade play.
