WILSONVILLE — The state’s football coaches are a fickle bunch with numerous changes seen in the most recent 1A coaches poll released on Thursday, Sept. 21, by the Oregon School Activities Association.

The 8-man poll sees the 2-1 Imbler Panthers move up one spot to seventh from last week’s eighth place showing. Elgin, unranked up to this point but sporting a perfect 3-0 record, makes the list this week at ninth.

Winless Powder Valley drops out of the poll after the Badgers were ranked sixth last week.

Lost River, Myrtle Point and Adrian are the top three teams in the minds of the coaches.
