LA GRANDE — Makenna Shaw had six kills, Kayle Collman and Aubrey Bisenius each added four to pace La Grande to a 25-12, 25-13, 25-6 rout on Thursday, Sept. 21, over Ontario in 4A Greater Oregon League action in La Grande.

“Ontario has improved and their coaching staff is doing a great job,” said La Grande head coach Melinda Becker-Bisenius. “I was proud of how the girls kept focus.”

La Grande served at 97% as a team with Bisenius serving six aces, one of those at match point. Collman had five aces and both Shaw and Belle Neer added four aces each. Dylann Justice ended her night with 14 assists.

La Grande (6-7 overall, 1-0 4A Greater Oregon League) will be on a bus early Sept. 23 as the Tigers take on a host of teams while in the North Marion Invite at North Valley High School. Pool play opens at 8 a.m.
