LA GRANDE — No. 1 Eastern Oregon suffocated Walla Walla University Friday, Sept. 22, in three dominant sets 25-9, 25-11, 25-9. The stats illustrate EOU’s dominance, with a team attack percentage of .437 compared to WWU’s -.031.

Ashton Haughton, Keira Vaughn and Madison Morgan all had five kills for EOU while Alexis McMurtrey had seven aces and added 17 assists.

EOU is now 14-1 on the season and 7-1 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. The Mountaineers will face off against Lewis-Clark State College Saturday at 3 p.m. in Quinn Coliseum.
