WILSONVILLE — The state’s girls soccer coaches saw the light and placed La Grande in the top 10, according to the recent 4A coaches poll released Wednesday, Oct. 4.

Previously unranked, according to voting by the coaches, the Tigers are now in the poll and holding down the No. 7 position. The Tigers hold a perfect 2-0-0 4A Greater Oregon League record and at the time of the voting, held down a 7-1-0 overall record.

The top three teams in the poll did not move as Marist Catholic remains at the top followed by North Marion and Hidden Valley/New Hope Christian. Scappoose remains fourth in the poll and Philomath rounds out the top five.
