LA GRANDE – Eastern Oregon had a 2-1 lead over Corban heading into the final minute of regulation, but a late goal by the Warriors had the Mountaineers settle for a 2-2 tie on Saturday.

The Warriors scored first, five minutes into the match, on a tally by Samuel Montes, but EOU would get the equalizer in the 41st minute when Marcos Bravo scored off an assist from Daniel Kropf. Kropf would put the Mounties ahead just before the break off an assist from Carlos Rodriguez.

Corban’s Bryan Nicolas would tie the game at the 89:18 mark.

EOU had 24 shots in the match with eight on goal, and Eastern Oregon goalkeeper Kevin Pullara faced three shots with one save.

EOU is 3-7-5 on the season and 3-5-3 in conference play as it travels to face Warner Pacific on Friday, Oct. 27.
