LA GRANDE. Ore. — The Eastern Oregon women’s wrestling team kicked off its season on Saturday with a dual victory over The Evergreen State College, 26-12.

EOU gained 20 of its 26 team points from forfeited matches by the Geoducks. Anna Rodriguez claimed an 8-6 decision victory over Erica Grant at 130 pounds. Liv Wieber added three more points to the Mountaineers score with an 11-4 decision over Flor Parker Borrero at 155.
