• LA GRANDE — The Union County LGBTQ Community Group will meet Thursday, Dec. 7, at 6 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 902 Fourth St., La Grande. Those who attend are asked to park in the lot on I Avenue and use the office entrance.

• LA GRANDE — The La Grande Women’s Connection Reunion Luncheon group’s meeting and Christmas Luncheon is slated for Friday, Dec. 8, 2023, at the Island City Urban Vine Banquet Room on Island Avenue. • LA GRANDE — The Union County Board of Commissioners meets on Wednesday, Dec. 6, at 9 a.m. at 1106 K Ave., La Grande. Upgrades at the La Grande/Union County Airport will be one of the topics discussed. The public can attend the meeting in person, via phone or via Zoom.
