LA GRANDE — After opening the season with a loss, La Grande has done nothing but win. This continued on Thursday, Dec. 7, as the Tigers rolled over Fruitland, Idaho, 52-38 in the La Grande gym.

“We were bothered by their length and press in the first half,” La Grande head coach Brian Wright said. “We settled down in the second with better defense leading to better offense. Peyton (Daggett) hit three threes in the second with some key assists. Rowan (Evans) and Maezie (Wilcox) got in the act in the second as well.”

Team and individual statistics were not provided for the game.

La Grande (3-1 overall) will meet Estacada (0-3 overall) on Dec. 8 in the Baker High School gym in a nonleague matchup.
