WILSONVILLE — In voting by the state’s basketball coaches, the La Grande girls’ basketball team continues to take an upward hike according to the newest state basketball poll released Tuesday, Jan. 2, by the Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA).

The Tigers are one spot out of the top five in the state’s 4A poll in the newest poll, rising to sixth this week. La Grande previously held down the eighth spot in the former polling. Greater Oregon League foe Baker makes an entrance in the poll at eighth after not being ranked last week.

The 1A poll finds Imbler remaining ranked sixth, the same ranking as last week.
