High school girls basketball: Tigers slip, Imbler holds in coaches poll

WILSONVILLE — La Grande fell one spot while Imbler held tight to last week’s slot as the Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA) released the latest coaches poll for girls basketball on Tuesday, Jan. 9

Picked sixth last week by the state’s 4A coaches, La Grande fell one spot to seventh in the recent poll. The 1A poll shows Imbler remaining ranked sixth, identical to last week’s poll.

Crane remains the favorite in the 1A ranks followed by North Douglas, Country Christian, St. Paul and Jordan Valley ahead of Imbler.

Henley remains at the top of the 4A poll. Philomath, Cascade, Astoria, Stayton and Klamath Union are ranked ahead of La Grande.
