High school boys basketball: OOL unbeaten Imbler gets visit from Wallowa

Wallowa at Imbler
Time: 5:30 p.m.
Records: Wallowa (40) 9-11 overall, 3-3 1A Old Oregon League; Imbler (2) 18-2 overall, 6-0 1A Old Oregon League
Overview: For the fourth consecutive game, the Cougars are on the road, this time to meet the second-ranked 1A team in the state.
Wallowa comes off a county loss to rival Joseph on Jan. 26 and currently sit tied for fifth in the league standings.
Imbler downed Wallowa on Jan. 12, 49-27, and are currently riding a seven-game win streak.
Pilot Rock at Union
Time: 5:30 p.m.
Records: Pilot Rock (42) 6-11 overall, 1-4 1A Old Oregon League; Union (6) 14-5 overall, 4-1 1A Old Oregon League
Overview: A trip to Union is the final game in a four-game road schedule for the Rockets with Pilot Rock winning two of the three to date. Pilot Rock is coming off a 76-71 loss to Echo on Jan. 26.
Union returns home after crushing Elgin on the road, 84-25, on Jan. 26. A previous game against Pilot Rock went the way of the Bobcats, 83-40, on Jan. 12.
Griswold at Elgin
Time: 4 p.m.
Records: Griswold (67) 2-13 overall, 0-4 1A Old Oregon League; Elgin (60) 3-13 overall, 1-3 1A Old Oregon League
Overview: Only Griswold and Pine Eagle remain without an Old Oregon League victory this season. The Grizzlies arrive in Elgin on an eight-game losing streak.
It was only four days ago that the Huskies picked up the team’s first league victory with a win over Griswold. Now, back home for the second of three home games, Elgin looks to pick up a second league victory.
