High school girls basketball: Imbler rises, La Grande holds in latest girls coaches poll

WILSONVILLE — As league playoffs get started, the Oregon School Activities Association released the voting by the state’s coaches in girls basketball on Tuesday, Feb. 13.
From the 1A Old Oregon League, Imbler climbed two spots in the 1A poll, now ranked No. 8, according to the state’s coaches. The Panthers were No. 10 in the polling last week.
Crane continues to be the unanimous first-place team in the poll, followed by North Douglas, Jordan Valley, Country Christian and St. Paul.
There was no movement by La Grande in the Class 4A poll as the Tigers remain No. 7 among the state’s 4A teams.
The 4A poll sees Astoria at No. 1, followed by Henley, Philomath, Klamath Union and Cascade in the top five.
