I am writing this letter to wholeheartedly endorse and express my unwavering support for Sheriff Cody Bowen in the upcoming election for Union County sheriff. My name is Brad Lohrey, and I have had the privilege of serving as the sheriff in Sherman County for over 23 years and have 31-plus years of being in law enforcement. While I generally refrain from involving myself in other county elections, I feel compelled to share my thoughts on the exceptional leadership demonstrated by Sheriff Bowen.

Throughout my extensive career, I have encountered numerous sheriffs, and without a doubt, I can affirm that Sheriff Bowen is among the best I have ever served with. His commitment to excellence and unwavering support when I have needed assistance are just a few of the qualities that make him stand out as an exceptional leader.

One aspect of Sheriff Bowen’s life that deserves commendation is his remarkable family. The values and principles instilled in him are evident in his dedication to public service and commitment to upholding the law.

In the face of challenges posed by the unconstitutional Measure 114, which sought to infringe upon our gun rights, Sheriff Bowen stood up and played a pivotal role in leading the charge to protect the rights of all citizens. His courage and commitment to defending our liberties exemplify the kind of leader Union County deserves.

Sheriff Bowen’s desire to help people is evident, and it continues to grow stronger every day. His love for the job is palpable, and he carries out his duties with honor and integrity. His passion for the first responder family in Union County, as well as his deep love for the community, is unmistakable. The citizens of Union County deserve a sheriff who is not only dedicated to their safety but is also passionate about making their home a better place.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly endorse Sheriff Cody Bowen for reelection as Union County sheriff. His leadership, commitment to the community, and unwavering support for the rights of citizens make him the ideal candidate for the position.
