LA GRANDE — Eastern Oregon University has been recognized as one of the top 10 online computer science programs in the United States by HostingAdvice.com, a leading authority in web hosting and technology education, according to a March 1 press release from the university.

The recognition “highlights EOU’s commitment to providing high-quality education in the rapidly growing field of computer science,” the press release claims, adding that recent statistics point to the field growing by a rate three times faster than the national average for all occupations.

EOU offers one of the lowest costs per credit hour among the programs listed by HostingAdvice.com, the university said.
