La Grande senior Caeden Barrett was named to the 4A Greater Oregon All-League team in 2024.

LA GRANDE — Caeden Barrett has stepped off the court for the final time as a member of the La Grande boys basketball team. In his senior season, Barrett, one of two teams captains, was the lone representative for the Tigers as the 4A Greater Oregon All-League team was released on Friday, March 8.

Although voting by the coaches was completed some time ago, the schools agreed to withhold the release of the all-league team until the state tournament.

Barrett received first-team honors, joining four Baker players on the first team: Paul Hobson, Jaron Long, Hudson Spike and Jaxson Logsdon.

The Player of the Year award went to Baker junior Isaiah Jones while Baker coach Jebron Jones was voted by his peers as Coach of the Year.

Barrett helped lead the Tigers to a 7-19 overall record and a 1-5 mark in the GOL. La Grande qualified for the state tournament with a second-place finish in the district tournament.
