- Letters to the editor LGO teaser
Cody Bowen had 10 years of previous experience before being elected Union County sheriff. His knowledge is extensive in that area. Whereas his opponent will need to attend 16 weeks (four months) at the police academy followed by three months in the field with a training officer before he will be qualified for the position of sheriff. The taxpayers will foot the bill for this training.
Cody strongly believes in following the Constitution and focusing on his daily duties. He also believes transparency is very important to the people in his job and being open to the public.
Cody is also starting a new program called “Best,” which is directed toward our local kids. He wants to help them.
The question is do you want someone with his background experience or his opponent who will have to have extensive training before he can fully carry out the duties of sheriff?
Let’s reelect Cody Bowen!
