LA GRANDE — Faith Lutheran Church’s Sunday service on April 7 begins at 10:30 a.m. in La Grande. The sermon for the First Sunday of Easter will be based on John 20:19-31. In these verses we hear how the resurrected Jesus greets humankind with “Peace be with you.” He further comforts us by establishing continued forgiveness granted in his name.

Following the Divine service will be April’s First Sunday Potluck. An elders meeting will be held after the meal. Also on April 7, the Board for Nord Est Haiti Lutheran Mission will meet at 4 p.m.
