PHILOMATH — After seeing a home game called off due to weather and field conditions, the La Grande baseball team was on the road on Saturday, April 6, for two nonleague games against 4A Philomath, a team playing in the Oregon West Conference.

After departing the bus, the Warriors picked up a 6-4 victory over La Grande in the opener and a 7-3 decision in the nightcap.

La Grande (3-5 overall) takes a three game losing streak to Washington on Tuesday, April 9, against College Place in a nonleague showdown.
