Rummage sale set for April 13

LA GRANDE — Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church invites the community to a rummage sale on Saturday, April 13, open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Access to the sale is through the door at the corner of Fifth Street and K Avenue, La Grande. For a real bargain, from noon to 2 p.m. there will be a $1 bag sale.

Fire district board meets April 9

City commission meetings held

LA GRANDE — Three of the city of La Grande’s commissions will meet this week. Each meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. and will be held at the Parks and Recreation Department’s office adjacent to Pioneer Park.

The Community Landscape & Forestry Commission meeting is on Tuesday, April 9; the La Grande Arts Commission is on Wednesday, April 10; and the Parks & Recreation Advisory Commission meets Thursday, April 11.

La Grande School Board plans April 10 meeting

LA GRANDE — The La Grande School District Board of Directors will meet for a regular session on Wednesday, April 10, at 7 p.m. in the library at La Grande High School, 708 K Ave. The meeting will be available in person, online and via phone. Following the regular meeting the board will meet in executive session to conduct deliberations with persons designated to carry on labor negotiations.
