“The team played well and did what they needed to stay undefeated in league play,” Union/Cove head coach Greg Poor said.
Due to problems obtaining officials, the game originally scheduled for April 30 has been rescheduled to May 1. Union/Cove (10-7 overall, 9-0 2A/1A Special District 7) will travel to John Day to meet Grant Union/Prairie City/Monument (13-6 overall, 9-0 2A/1A Special District 7). The game marks the first of three games the two teams will play as the Bobcats close out the regular season at home on May 4 with a doubleheader.
