BAKER CITY — Golfing for the final time for the Union/Cove/Imbler boys team, senior Noah Wells closed out his high school career with a 19-place showing at the 3A/2A/1A Special District 4 Championship on Tuesday, May 7, at the Quail Ridge Golf Course in Baker City.

Wells started the two days of action with a 97 on day one, finishing with a 104 on the second and final day.

Finishing with a 230 total, junior Tyler Spellman placed 46th in the field. Starting with a 126 on the first 18 holes, Spellman cut 22 strokes off in the second day.

Freshman Trenton Baremore, golfing in his first district championship, placed 54th after finishing with a 249 total.
