LA GRANDE – The La Grande baseball team rose to a 12-9 overall record, closing out the regular season with a 10-0 inning shutout over 3A Wallowa Valley on Tuesday, May 14, in La Grande.

The victory broke a four-game skid for the Tigers as the team waits to determine where and when postseason play will take place.

La Grande closes out the regular season second in the 4A Greater Oregon League standings after playing to a 7-5 4A GOL record. The Tigers are

currently 14th in the state 4A rankings. Pendleton/Griswold, undefeated in league play, is ranked fifth in the state.
