I strongly support Dave Drotzmann for state senator in District 29. As mayor of The Dalles, I have worked closely with Dave through the League of Oregon Cities and Oregon Mayors Association. Dave understands the myriad of challenges facing our rural communities and has consistently demonstrated strong leadership while delivering results for the city of Hermiston. I have no doubt he will do the same for us in Salem.

During Dave’s tenure as Hermiston mayor, the city has added jobs, increased wages and made key investments in infrastructure to pilot future growth. He also lent his voice to the coalition that successfully pushed to repeal the worst parts of Measure 110 this past session, showing a commitment to making our communities safer while getting addicts into recovery — rather than leaving them in the streets.

Simply put, Dave understands what it takes to make Oregon businesses and families healthier, more secure and prosperous. Additionally, he is a staunch proponent of our conservative values and will fight to defend our Second Amendment liberties, the right to life and individual freedoms.

As we approach the Republican primary on May 21, I urge my fellow citizens to join me in casting their votes for Dave Drotzmann, a leader whose track record of success and dedication to our communities make him the ideal candidate to represent our interests in the Legislature.
