LA GRANDE — La Grande’s Faith Lutheran Church is having a yard sale on Saturday, June 1, that will benefit SHINE Preschool. The sale will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will feature household items, plants and much more.

On Sunday, June 2, Faith Lutheran Church’s Divine service begins at 10 a.m. The service will focus on Mark 2:23-28 in which Jesus explains that “the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. So the Son of Man is lord even of the Sabbath” (verses 27-28). Christians will honor the time set aside for worship and receive God’s Word and blessings that are provided in worship.

Following the service will be the First Sunday potluck then an elders’ meeting.
