Features this year included a firemen’s breakfast at the fire house, Lions dinner at the Fred Beeman Memorial Park, vendors and food booths, car club show, the famous piggy train, pony rides, petting zoo and bouncy house.
The primary organizer of the event was Toni Grove, president of the Island City Lions, according to the club’s report. Grove said Hog Wild Days has been going on for more than four decades.
